Helper Mechanic

The Helper Mechanic assists the Motorpool team in maintaining and repairing company vehicles, delivery trucks, and service units used in retail operations. This role ensures that all vehicles are in good working condition to support the company's logistics and business needs.

• Assist in performing routine maintenance and minor repairs on company vehicles (e.g., oil change, tire replacement, brake inspection).
• Help diagnose mechanical issues and perform basic troubleshooting under the supervision of a mechanic.
• Support in the inspection, cleaning, and preparation of vehicles for deployment.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the motorpool work area and tools.
• Assist in recording maintenance activities, parts used, and service schedules.
• Perform errands such as purchasing parts or delivering tools and equipment as instructed.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and proper handling of tools and equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Motorpool Supervisor.

• At least High School Graduate or Vocational Course in Automotive Servicing or related field.
• With basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Preferably with experience in assisting mechanics or working in a motorpool setup.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labor.
• Willing to work in various store or warehouse locations as needed.
• Honest, reliable, and able to work under supervision.
