Responsibilities:
- Oversee cash flow management to ensure financial stability.
- Handle accounts receivable, including debt collection and customer follow-ups.
- Manage customer contracts and ensure compliance with financial terms.
- Oversee accounts payable, ensuring timely payments and cost efficiency.
- Develop, implement, and maintain budgets for financial planning.
- Monitor and manage debt levels, ensuring optimal financial health.
- Supervise inventory management, including reordering strategies and stock control.
- Identify and implement cost-reduction strategies to improve profitability.
- Manage payroll processing, wages, and employee compensation.
- Ensure compliance with PAYE (Pay As You Earn) and GST (Goods & Services Tax) regulations.
- Develop and execute tax planning strategies to optimize tax obligations.
Requirements:
- Accounting qualification:
Certified Public Accountant - Minimum
2 years of experience with Xero
for accounting and financial management. - Proficiency in
Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
. - Experience working with
New Zealand companies
, with a strong understanding of
NZ/AU tax laws and financial regulations
. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong multitasking abilities, with the ability to manage multiple financial tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
