Restaurant Manager

Blend & Grind is El Nido's go-to café for specialty coffee, delicious breakfast, nourishing brunches, and chill daytime vibes. By night, we transform into Eat Kitchen & Bar, serving up elevated dishes, craft cocktails, and a laid-back dining experience.

We're looking for a hands-on, results-driven General Manager to lead operations across both concepts. If you're passionate about hospitality, thrive in dynamic environments, and love creating exceptional guest experiences—this could be your perfect role in the paradise of El Nido, Palawan.

Job Scope:

As General Manager, you'll oversee the full operation of the venue from sun-up to last call (with a flexible working schedule). You'll work closely with the owners to ensure seamless coordination between day and night shifts, front- and back-of-house, and guest-facing experiences.

This is a key leadership role with a focus on team development, operational excellence, and brand consistency across both the café and restaurant.

Responsibilities:

• Be a disciplined leader that creates a great working environment and maintaining a positive relationship with your team
• Ensuring the daily operation of the business is running smoothly and having accountability
• Being able to multi-task across all areas of the business and not be afraid to complete any tasks that needs completing
• Delivering excellent service to our guests that gives the stand out hospitality that we are known for which goes above and beyond to meet the needs of our guests
• Training, developing and nurturing your team to be best that they can be as well as identifying any HR issues and handling them accordingly
• Oversee scheduling, staffing, and team performance reviews
• Creating new policies and standards where necessary
• Liaising on a daily basis with owners to provide updates across all areas of the business
• Ensuring sales targets are met and exceeded
• Being fluent in English is essential for this role
• Having a working knowledge of legal requirements and processes and ensuring that the business always remains safe & legal
• Ensuring premises are well maintained and always looking their best
• Always be thinking of ways to improve and never remaining stagnant
• Ensuring stock levels are maintained to required levels and completing inventory checks
• Maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders
• Support the execution of in-house events, brand activations, and community engagement

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of proven management experience in F&B operations, guest services, or hotel management
• Barista / Cocktail training beneficial but not essential
• Bachelor degree preferred
• Computer literate
• Financially savvy—comfortable with sales reports, budgeting, and cost control
• Calm under pressure, solution-oriented, and committed to guest satisfaction
• Willing to be assigned in El Nido, Palawan. If you need to relocate this can be discussed
• NEED TO BE AVAILABLE TO START BEGINNING OF SEPTEMBER
