POSITION SUMMARY:

Digital Continuity solutions include:

  • Hardware, software, and services enabling the continuous functionality of assets facilitating digital applications across cloud, enterprise, industry, and communication. 

Customers include:

  • End users and technology service providers, ranging from Fortune 10 global companies to small businesses, across verticals and government entities.
  • Channel Partners, ranging from server OEMs to IT & Electrical Distribution and Value Added Resellers.

The IRS EMEA Product Marketing Specialist will support the IRS EMEA Offering Management Team in solving the increasingly significant challenge of Digital Continuity for users of digital applications across Europe, Middle East, and Africa, leveraging a mix of global company resources, regional familiarity, and personal touch.

Responsibilities and Measurement Criteria with Time investment Needed on Each: - 

  • General stewardship & support of the product marketing content, quality, and coverage - and the internal/external customer experience in accessing & consuming product marketing messaging.
  • Support of the product lifecycle management function in EMEA for the Integrated Rack Solutions product & service portfolio, from market introduction, through general promotion and end-of-life.
  • Creation of content communicating the value proposition of IRS products, services, and solutions.  This includes specific messaging alignment to targeted end customer segments.
  • Active research / voice-of-customer to understand the desired mechanisms and media for content consumption across routes to market, including direct sales and channel partners.
  • Active management & optimization of content related to product marketing, across the global tools suite, internal and external-facing.
  • Research & assessment of competitive product marketing content, including mechanism, media, and value proposition. 
  • Ongoing management of product marketing plans, in coordination with Offering Management and EMEA Marketing, with regular communication of those plans to broad internal audiences.
  • Programmatic prioritization of a new content/asset development funnel.
  • Effective understanding, leverage, and guidance of Configure-Price-Quote, ERP, and other relevant tool suites, with provision of supporting content as necessary.
  • Achievement of positioning as a 'consultative partner' for the Vertiv Sales Team and Channel Partners regarding product marketing content. 
  • Influence of and coordination with peers and team in different regions globally, to provide the optimal Customer experience globally. 

Required/ Minimum Qualifications: -

Education: University degree in Marketing, BA or similar

Experience: 

  • 2+ years product marketing experience, ideally within a recognized market leader in the IT industry vendor or distributor)
  • Technical / Functional skills: Routine application of MS office products, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of IT/Telco/Datacenter Market
  • Excellence in Digital Marketing (Inbound/Content)
  • Familiarity with sales channels including IT Distribution, Electrical Distribution, Value Added Resellers, System Integrators, and Electrical & Mechanical Contractors is beneficial. 
  • Familiarity with technology verticals including cloud services, communication / telecom, collocation, and enterprise beneficial. 
  • Familiarity with server OEM & ODM market leaders, their technologies, capabilities, go-to-market routes, and strategies is beneficial.

Language skills: English at native level, any other language is beneficial
