Job Description:

The Enterprise Architect leads the design of the organization's future-state technology, data, and process architecture. This role ensures coherence across platforms, systems, and transformation initiatives by creating principles, standards, and roadmaps that align IT capabilities with strategic business goals. The EA plays a key role in guiding technology decisions, ensuring solution integrity, and enabling sustainable change.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Enterprise Architecture Strategy

2. Define and maintain enterprise architecture principles, target state architectures, and capability models.

3. Develop and maintain a multi-year technology roadmap aligned with strategic objectives.
4. Ensure that solution designs and IT investments align with enterprise standards and transformation priorities.

Architecture Governance

• Establish architectural review boards, decision logs, and technical risk assessments.
• Create reference architectures, blueprints, and solution patterns to guide delivery.
• Partner with IT, business leaders, and PMO to embed architecture governance into program governance.

Integration & Platform Planning

• Define platform strategies across core systems (ERP, CRM, BI, etc.), ensuring interoperability and scalability.
• Oversee major technology evaluations, system selections, and fit-gap analyses.
• Ensure API, integration, and data architecture strategies are cohesive and aligned.

Leadership & Alignment

• Collaborate with workstream leads, solution architects, TBAs, and DevOps to ensure delivery feasibility.
• Serve as a bridge between business strategy and technical execution.
• Advocate for architectural sustainability, cost-effectiveness, and future readiness.

Capability Building & Documentation

• Create visual architecture artefacts and communicate architectural direction clearly.
• Develop and embed architectural standards in the Transformation Playbook.
• Mentor technical staff and support upskilling across IT, development, and transformation teams.

Key Deliverables

• Enterprise architecture principles and standards
• Reference architectures and current/future state diagrams
• Multi-year technology roadmap (with transitions and key decisions documented)
• Architectural decision logs and evaluation matrices
• Fit-gap and impact assessments for major platform decisions
• Capability-to-platform fit maps aligned with strategic OKRs

Key Relationships

• Internal:
  CS&TO, Solutions Architects, Technical BAs, IT Manager, Program Manager, Agile Coach, Business Unit Heads
• External:
  Platform vendors, implementation partners, cloud providers, consultants

Experience & Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT architecture, enterprise design, or large-scale transformation roles
• Experience creating current and future-state architectures, technology roadmaps, and capability models
• Strong background in system integration, cloud services, and enterprise platforms (ERP, CRM, BI)
• Familiarity with architectural frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) and tools (ArchiMate, Lucidchart, etc.)
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and executives
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
• Certifications in TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architecture, or related enterprise architecture practices are a plus
• Willing to work on a contractual basis for 1 year ( subject to full time )
