Schedule: Shifting (Clinic Operations 6am-10pm)
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of Medical Laboratory Science, Phlebotomy, or equivalent health sciences course
- License / Certifications: MUST HAVE Licensed Phlebotomist or Registered Medical Technologist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is an advantage
- OPEN TO FRESH GRADS WITH LICENSE: Med-Tech License is a MUST
Knowledge:
- Knowledgeable in infection control, hygiene, and safe disposal of sharp and biohazard materials
- Understanding of veins, circulation, and human body systems related to blood collection
- Basic knowledge of phlebotomy tools, centrifuges, and sample storage requirements
Skills:
- Proficient in venipuncture, capillary puncture, and proper specimen handling
- Efficiently handle multiple patients and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinic or laboratory setting
- Ability to address challenging draws, difficult veins, or unexpected patient reactions
- Has good communication and people skills
