We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Company Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the transportation and safe delivery of glass and aluminum products to our customers and project sites. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, care in handling fragile materials, and a strong commitment to customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Safely load, transport, and deliver glass and aluminum products to designated customers and sites
- Ensure proper handling and secure placement of fragile materials to prevent damage during transit
- Inspect delivery vehicle before and after trips; report any issues or maintenance needs
- Follow assigned routes and schedules, ensuring timely deliveries
- Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse, and customers for smooth delivery operations
- Maintain delivery records, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the assigned company vehicle
