The System Administrator will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the company's IT infrastructure, focusing on cloud-based servers, systems, and networks. This role ensures optimal performance, security, and reliability of the organization's cloud environment and hosted services. He/she will oversee the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cloud and system resources to support business operations efficiently.

The role will report to the IT Infrastructure Manager.

Qualifications and Job Specifications

  • Graduate of Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any related course.
  • Proven experience as a System Administrator or 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Linux (CentOS/Ubuntu/RHEL) and Windows Server administration in cloud or virtualized environments.
  • Experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) administration or deployment is required.
  • Certifications such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) are an advantage.
  • Experience managing cloud networking, identity management, and virtual machine deployments in OCI, AWS, or Azure.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the company's cloud infrastructure, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), virtual servers, and network configurations.
  • Administer, configure, and monitor Linux and Windows Server instances in the cloud.
  • Implement, monitor, and maintain cloud security controls, backups, and access management.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with cloud vendors, technical support teams, and internal IT staff to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot cloud-based and server-related issues to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Monitor system performance, perform capacity planning, and ensure cost optimization of cloud resources.
  • Maintain updated documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, and network topology.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Strong expertise in Linux and Windows Server administration within cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI); knowledge of AWS or Azure is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of cloud networking, VPNs, DNS, and firewall management.
  • Familiarity with automation and scripting tools (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Terraform).
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully cloud-based environment and adapt to changing technologies.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php35, Php50,000.00 per month
