Powerhouse is a technology company that empowers households to choose their own utility providers and access lower rates—starting with electricity. Through our platform, we connect residential customers to utility suppliers, unlocking access to the competitive retail market to deliver significant, measurable savings and help our users understand and manage their usage like never before.

But our mission doesn't stop with electricity. We are building the first all-in-one utility hub for the modern Filipino home, a single app to manage and save on all essential household services. We are a fast-growing, mission-driven team looking for passionate individuals who are excited using their skills to disrupt the major age-old utility industry and make a tangible impact on the lives of millions.

What you'll do

We're looking for a hands-on Senior Software Engineer to help us build fast, scale smart, and ship great user experiences:

  • Develop features using ) and
  • Design and manage PostgreSQL schemas and backend services
  • Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and monitoring tools
  • Integrate AI tools (e.g., chatbots, automation) to enhance the platform
  • Implement security best practices for authentication, access control, and data protection
  • Define code standards, review pull requests, and support junior engineers
  • Make architecture decisions to support scale, performance, and security

What we're looking for

  • 4+ years of experience in fullstack development , , SQL)
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and basic DevOps practices
  • Familiarity with AI tools or APIs (e.g., chatbots, GPT)
  • Experience with payments, support automation, or high-traffic apps
