Scope and Responsibilities

1. Monitoring & Incident Response

Monitor threat detections, alerts, and logs within the Trend Micro dashboard.

Analyze suspicious activities and coordinate with the security team for response.

Assist in triaging and mitigating malware infections, phishing attacks, and advanced persistent threats (APTs).

2. Maintenance & Updates

Perform regular system health checks and patch management for Trend Micro products.

Manage agent deployment and connectivity issues across endpoints.

3. Troubleshooting & Support

Investigate and resolve technical issues involving Trend Micro products.

Work closely with Trend Micro Technical Support or Global Support Center if escalation is needed.

Document troubleshooting steps and provide RCA (Root Cause Analysis) if required.

4. Reporting & Documentation

Generate regular security reports (infection trends, compliance summaries, etc.).

Provide recommendations based on threat insights and Trend Micro analytics.

5. Advisory & Optimization

Propose security best practices aligned with the customer's environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts (malware, phishing, APTs) and incident response.
  • Hands-on experience with Trend Micro solutions (Apex One, Deep Security, Vision One/XDR, Cloud One).
  • Skilled in troubleshooting, patch management, log analysis, and RCA documentation.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills, with ability to provide security recommendations.
  • Certifications: Mandatory: Trend Micro Certified Professional (TMCP) for the relevant product (e.g., Apex One or Vision One). Preferred: Additional certifications such as Security+, CEH, CISSP.
