Job Summary

The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for analyzing, improving, and optimizing operational processes to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and ensure efficient use of resources. This role involves evaluating workflows, designing process improvements, implementing lean methodologies, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. The Industrial Engineer will collaborate closely with operations, production, quality, and management teams to drive operational excellence and meet business objectives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze existing processes, workflows, and layouts to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and implement process optimization strategies to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Conduct time-and-motion studies, capacity analysis, and productivity evaluations.
  • Create process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.
  • Design and improve workstation layouts using ergonomic principles and lean practices.
  • Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing).
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and recommend adjustments.
  • Assist in planning production schedules, manpower allocation, and equipment utilization.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement process changes and ensure alignment with operational goals.
  • Perform data analysis and generate reports to provide insights for decision-making.
  • Participate in quality improvement projects to enhance product and service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company policies in all process designs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in process engineering, manufacturing, operations, or continuous improvement is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in process mapping, data analysis, and productivity tools.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other improvement methodologies is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects.

Working Schedule: Monday- Saturday
