pharmacist (nationwide)

JOB SUMMARY:

• Reviews and accurately dispenses medications as prescribed by a licensed physician.
• Ensures good storage practices for all products including cold chain items and biologicals.
• All medicines sold and displayed in the store are safe, effective, quality and are FDA-registered products.
• Ensures and observes good dispensing practices.
• Handles customer complaints, product recalls, adverse drug reactions, returned products, expired/defective/damaged products in an efficient and organized manner.
• Conducts medication counselling to all patients.
• Creates and maintains a good record of patient records, prescriptions, policies, advisories, memo, logbooks and the like.
• Ensures and monitor the drugstore is compliant and up to date with regulatory standards and procedures.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the drugstore and train pharmacy assistants & merchandisers.
• Conducts regular periodic stock reconciliation/cycle count.
• Obtain cashiering, vault management and bookkeeping skills.
