The Telephony Systems Specialist is responsible for managing, optimizing, and supporting the call center's telephony and automated dialing systems. This role ensures that all outbound and inbound communication platforms operate efficiently to maximize agent productivity, support business objectives, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. The Telephony Systems Specialist will configure systems, analyze performance data, implement calling strategies, and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure the stability and effectiveness of all telephony operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize telephony platforms, including automated dialing systems, to support call campaigns and operational needs.
  • Monitor real-time and historical system performance to ensure maximum efficiency, connectivity, and system uptime.
  • Adjust dialing and telephony configurations based on campaign requirements, system analysis, and business directives.
  • Schedule and launch outbound call campaigns, ensuring alignment with operational goals and compliance guidelines.
  • Track campaign performance and recommend adjustments to improve contactability, connection rates, and overall productivity.
  • Generate basic reports to highlight system performance, trends, and operational concerns.
  • Diagnose and resolve telephony or dialer-related technical issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to ensure system stability, scalability, and optimal performance.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, system updates, and testing on telephony hardware and software.
  • Support operational teams by providing insights, training, or technical guidance related to telephony tools.

The Ideal Candidate
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
Experience
  • 1 to 3 years of experience working with telephony or automated dialing systems in a BPO or call center environment.
  • Background in collections, customer service, fintech, or outbound operations is preferred.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in telephony platforms and dialer tools.
  • Strong SQL proficiency is a significant advantage.
  • Solid understanding of call routing, dialer configuration, VoIP systems, or related technologies.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
  • Ability to analyze system data, identify issues, and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Communication & Collaboration
  • Good English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Operations, IT, and vendor partner
