As a Product Owner Associate , you will assist the Product Owner in managing the full product lifecycle from concept to launch. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to successfully deliver high-quality products that meet market needs and achieve business goals. Your responsibilities will include gathering and analyzing requirements, prioritizing features, and ensuring effective stakeholder engagement.

Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
    Translate business needs into clear and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and feature specifications.
    Assist in preparing reports and presentations for stakeholders on product performance and plans.

Product Backlog Refinement

  • Develops and explicitly communicates the Product Goal to the Development team
  • Creates and communicates Product Backlog Items
  • Orders and manages Product Backlog Items
    Ensuring that the Product Backlog is transparent, visible and understood

Collaboration and Communication

  • Focuses on building strong relationships with stakeholders, customers and team members across the organisation, encouraging collaboration and communication.
    Collaborate across multiple disciplines across an organization to develop great products that offer true value to the customer.

Working software

Prioritizes delivering working software that meets customer needs and provides value

Continuous Improvement

  • Flexible and able to adapt to changes in customer needs and market conditions, adjusting the product roadmap and strategy as needed.
    Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product improvement.

Support Agile Processes:

  • Work within Agile frameworks, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
    Collaborate with the development team to ensure effective sprint execution.

Product Development Support

  • Assist in creating and maintaining product roadmaps and release plans.
  • Support the Product Owner in defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics.
  • Participate in testing and validation of new features and enhancements to ensure they meet requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Internship experience in Product Ownership, Project Management or relevant field.
  • Work experience in Product Ownership/ Product Management is a plus.
  • Can understand the modern software development process.
  • Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools/software quickly
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
