What you'll be doing

• Ensuring prompt and attentive table service for drinks
• Serving a variety of beverages
• Maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked bar area
• Providing food and beverage recommendations to guests
• Assisting with event set-up and tear-down as needed
• Adhering to all health, safety and licensing regulations
• Collaborating with the wider hospitality team to deliver an exceptional guest experience

What you'll be doing (Banquet Waiter)

• Assisting with event set-up and tear-down as needed
• Advise guests on allergens and religious accommodation on Breakfast and banquet buffet
• Ensuring prompt and attentive table service for food and drinks
• Pre-Bus and Bus Out of plates
• Buffet setup, ensuring serving time as per contract
• Adhering to all health, safety and licensing regulations
• Collaborating with the wider hospitality team to deliver an exceptional guest experience
• Assisting with sound system arrangements for event

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a similar as banquet waiter or bartending role, preferably in a hotel or casual dining restaurant setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests
• Excellent customer service orientation & the ability to work well under pressure
• Proficiency in banquet service , prior experience recommended
• Knowledge of food and beverage pairings and trends
• Knowledge of allergens, or other food restrictions, food safety
• Flexible and adaptable to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required
• High school diploma or equivalent, previous experience required
