Location: 6811 Ayala Avenue, Makati City | Onsite | Full-time

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), issuing purchase orders, and supporting both site and office teams through effective communication and coordination. This role requires hands-on experience with Databuild, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel & Outlook, and Onsite Companion, as well as the ability to liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

BOQ Preparation & Management

  • Prepare accurate and detailed Production BOQs for ongoing projects.
  • Develop and maintain Master BOQ templates for all new Base Models and Master Designs.
  • Ensure BOQs are updated to reflect design changes or scope adjustments.

Purchasing & Procurement

  • Issue Purchase Orders in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy in quantities, pricing, and specifications.
  • Track and manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

Supplier & Subcontractor Coordination

  • Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing, confirm availability, and negotiate terms.
  • Maintain a reliable database of suppliers and subcontractors for current and future projects.

Support to Site Supervisors

  • Assist Site Supervisors by responding to queries related to BOQs, quantities, materials, and purchase orders.
  • Provide timely support via email and phone, ensuring minimal delays to site operations.

Internal Coordination

  • Work closely with the Accounting, Construction, and Design Teams to ensure estimates align with budgets, design intent, and project schedules.
  • Participate in internal project meetings when required to provide cost input and updates.

Qualifications:

  • With bachelor's degree in civil engineering or any related field
  • Licensed Civil Engineer
  • With more than 4 years of proven experience in a similar Estimator or Quantity Surveyor role within the construction or building industry.
  • Proficiency in the following software:
  • Databuild
  • Bluebeam
  • Microsoft Excel & Outlook
  • Onsite Companion
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
