JOB DESCRIPTION
CASH TRANSACTION
Computes and collects cash payment from the customer for the room accommodation; supplies, snacks/ miscellaneous order.
Prepares receipt on all cash transaction and issues receipt to customer upon request.
Reconciles cash receive versus actual sales.
Prepares daily sales report after each shift manually.
Reports number of occupancies and sales for each shift supervisor or Operations Manager
Acts as Petty Cash Custodian liquidation report for submission to Accounting Dept.
Drops cash on hand in the amount as specified in the policy in drop box.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
Welcoming properly the guest, presents whatever enticing services the hotel could offer and answering customer inquiries within her capacity and authority
Act as telephone operator, answering of phone calls in accordance to the standard of the hotel
Controls the glass doors at the lobby (if applicable)
Take food order and other amenities needed from the room call.
Does wake up calls/follow up as requested by the customer
OPERATION CONCERN
Relays maintenance concern to the right maintenance personnel.
Coordinates with the chambermaid or other hotel personnel of the rooms due for check-out clearance and cleaning
Monitors available room for occupancy
Ensures cleanliness of the lobby.
JOB QUALIFICATION
- College graduate of hotel management course.
- Preferably with hotel experience or with work related experience such as cashier
- With good communication and customer service skills.
