  • Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement purchasing strategies, analyze spending, forecast needs, and align procurement with company objectives.
  • Supplier Management: Source, evaluate, select, and manage suppliers; negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms; build long-term partnerships.
  • Cost Control: Identify cost savings, prepare budgets, and control procurement expenses.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure all procured items meet food safety (HACCP, GMP) and quality standards, including supplier audits.
  • Inventory & Operations: Work with inventory control to manage stock levels, prevent shortages, and oversee equipment/machinery procurement.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with R&D, Production, and Marketing for new product development and product information.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor food market trends, pricing, and supplier capabilities.
