JOB TITLE : Driver

SCOPE OF WORK : Supermarket, Institutional Customer and Wet Market

REPORTING TO : Logistics Supervisor

DEPARTMENT : LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT

JOB SUMMARY

Perform work in the operation of a vehicle to assure delivery of products to and various customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • With Driver's License - PRO 1, 2, 3
  • Can drive 4-6 wheels
  • At least High School graduate with diploma

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Daily Activities

  1. Maintain records such as time at each stop and mileage.

  2. Drive as per route assignment to transport products as assigned by supervisor/management.

  3. Assume responsibility for care and maintenance of truck; washes van and cleans interior; takes van to garage for maintenance and repair.

  4. Assist deliveryman to unload the goods to each customers.

  5. Perform as per instruction of superior / management.

  6. Modify drop off point within established route area.

  7. Assist delivery man as needed

  8. Report delivery route / status to supervisor thru text.

  9. Drive delivery vehicle safely and lawfully in highways and local streets. Park vehicle at designated area or within the vicinity of customer.

  10. Contact your superior as to the status of delivery schedule per store/customer

  11. Maintain flexibility to restructure route as needed but with approval of your superior.

  12. Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and monitor fuel availability.

  13. Write down kilometer reading before and after delivery.

  14. Ensure completeness of documents, money etc before the trip

  15. Ensure cleanliness of truck after unloading the return trips to dispatching area.

  16. Ensure that all documents and collection money from the customer are submitted to Logistics staff.

  17. Check condition of delivery truck and accessories before the schedule time of delivery.

  1. Submit Kilometer Reading to supervisor

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php645.00 per day

  • Driver: 1 year (Preferred)
