Medical Abstractor

We are a growing Healthcare BPO company providing high-quality medical support services to our international clients. With a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and patient data confidentiality, we are seeking PHRN-certified Medical Abstractors to join our dynamic team.

As a Medical Abstractor, you will be responsible for reviewing and extracting relevant clinical information from medical records, ensuring accurate data abstraction, and inputting the information into client systems or electronic health records (EHRs). This role supports medical coding, quality reviews, HEDIS abstraction, and clinical documentation improvement initiatives.

• Review patient medical records and abstract critical clinical data.
• Identify and extract relevant diagnoses, procedures, lab results, medications, and treatment plans.
• Ensure compliance with client guidelines, HIPAA, and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with team members including nurses, coders, and QA personnel.
• Maintain high levels of data accuracy and integrity.
• Use various EHR platforms and abstraction tools efficiently.

• Must be Registered Nurse with Active PRC License
• Experience in medical abstraction, clinical chart review, or HEDIS is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT codes, and medical terminology preferred.
• Must have Acute Bedside Experience
• Proficient in reading and interpreting clinical documentation.
• Excellent English communication and comprehension skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced BPO environment.
