Duties and Responsibilities:

1.Processing sales transactions by issuing sales invoices to customers

  1. Handled customer payments through various channels including cash, debit, credit cards, point-of-sale (POS) systems, QR code scanning, online platforms, and check transactions

  2. Input sales transactions to HIMS

  3. Encoded daily sales transactions into Excel and recorded them in the accounting journal

  4. Reconciled shift sales and prepared corresponding deposits for the next business day

  5. Finalized shift sales reports and accounted for the allotted petty cash

  6. Incoming staff verify the outgoing staff's cash by cross-checking it with the prepared deposit slip

  7. The outgoing staff conducts a proper turnover to the incoming shift, ensuring all relevant information is communicated

  8. All collected cash and checks are remitted the next day for proper accounting and deposit

  9. Deposit slips are filed and attached to their corresponding daily sales reports for proper documentation

  10. Compiling and documenting the duty summary of the resident-on-duty assigned to the ER and Ward

  11. Calculate and process the salary payment for the resident-on-duty (ROD) acting as a reliever

  12. The ROD report is submitted to accounting for thorough review and validation

  13. All business office work, except PhilHealth matters, is processed by the cashier on duty after office hours and during the night shift

  14. Billing is processed for outpatient visits, ER cases, and patients being transferred as in-patients

  15. Collaborate with the Credit and Collection Officer to facilitate the approval of promissory notes

  16. Guarantee letters with complete documentation are accepted, and their amounts are deducted from the customer's bill

  17. Cash vouchers are released after office hours or when the petty cash custodian is not available to ensure continuity of operations

  18. Outpatient DOH MAIP deductions are logged systematically in the designated logbook for tracking and auditing purposes

  19. Daily canteen sales are collected and documented, then submitted to the Assistant Hospital Administrator the following day for review
