A Cashier Service Crew member is primarily responsible for handling customer transactions and providing excellent service in a retail or food service setting. This role involves tasks like processing payments, maintaining the checkout area, and assisting customers with inquiries or concerns. Additionally, they may be involved in tasks like restocking shelves, preparing food orders, or other duties to support the overall operation. Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction:
  • Greeting customers and providing a positive first impression.
  • Answering customer questions about products, services, or store policies.
  • Assisting customers with finding items or locating specific products.
  • Resolving customer complaints or issues effectively.
  • Transaction Processing:
  • Accurately processing payments (cash, credit, debit, etc.).
  • Making change and issuing receipts.
  • Balancing cash drawers and verifying amounts at the end of shifts.
  • Operating point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Maintaining the Work Area:
  • Ensuring the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
  • Restocking shelves and displays as needed.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area (if applicable).
  • Supporting Operations:
  • Preparing food orders (if applicable).
  • Assisting with other tasks as needed, such as preparing takeout orders, answering phones, or taking reservations.
  • Teamwork:
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Providing support to other areas of the business as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in handling cash transactions and making change.
  • Customer Service Skills: A friendly, helpful, and patient attitude.
  • Point of Sale (POS) System Knowledge: Familiarity with operating cash registers and other related equipment.
  • Product Knowledge: Understanding of the products or services offered by the business.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks requiring some physical effort.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php Php730.00 per day
