• Expected salary: ₱50,000 - ₱55,000 per month

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and legal pass of legal correspondences, contracts, documents or instruments pertaining to land and land rights acquisition prior to filing;

• Preparation and filing of pleadings;

• Handling of expropriation cases, including attendance of hearings;

• Liaising with external counsels;

• Provision of advise, assistance and services on legal matters pertaining to right-of-way, and those affecting the rights and interests of the company;

• Monitoring of expropriation case status, including the review and timely submission of status report;

• Monitoring of ROW negotiation and documentation of project;

• Assessing claims with ROW issues;

• Providing guidance to team leaders and negotiators in handling legal matters relative to transactions with project-affected persons or government agencies

• Reporting and monitoring key legal issues, and coordinating with internal stakeholders on legal right-of-way matters

Requirements:

• Graduate of Juris Doctor

• Active member of the Philippine Bar Association

• Proficient in spoken and written English

• Good management skills

• Knowledge in goal/target setting and evaluating accomplishments
