About the role

Polystar General Services' is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team in General Trias City, Cavite. As a fulltime Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing a variety of wooden structures, fixtures, and furniture to high standards.

What you'll be doing

  1. Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
  2. Selecting appropriate materials, tools, and equipment to complete carpentry tasks
  3. Measuring, cutting, and shaping wood to precise dimensions using power tools and hand tools
  4. Assembling and installing wooden structures, fixtures, and furniture
  5. Performing maintenance and repair work on existing wooden structures and furniture
  6. Collaborating with other trades professionals to ensure project completion
  7. Adhering to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably in the construction or commercial furniture industry
  2. Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
  3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  4. Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools
  5. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  6. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  7. Good communication and teamwork skills
