Tax Assistant Manager

The Tax Assistant Manager is responsible to assist the Senior Tax Manager for all operational activities related to Government Regulatory Compliance, Planning and Risk Management.
- Lead the team in processing, review and ensuring timely submission of books and reports related to Government Regulatory Compliance, Withholding taxes, VAT, Income Tax and Registration for ALHI and its subsidiaries;
- Review/Prepare Financial Statements Disclosures
- Takes part in business process and operations planning, innovation, risk management, and implementation;
- Monitors regular and on-demand updates on all tax compliance concerns such as but not limited to new revenue regulations;
- Takes part in tax planning and management, including facilitation and resolution of BIR/BOI/PEZA and other audits/examinations;
- Performs analysis/review for tax returns preparation, payments and forecast;
- Assist in the title transfer related process
- Coordinates with Accounting, Legal, and Admin for BIR, PEZA/BOI and other government liaisons;
- Performs related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy; CPA
- 8 years related work experience in top audit firms, banks and/or in the real estate industry;
- With specific technical competencies in tax, government and corporate reporting, financial accounting and analysis, and consolidation;
- Must be highly analytical, hardworking, organized and keen on details;
- With excellent oral and written communication skills
- Computer proficient
