The Senior Technical Manager serves as a key escalation point within the Level 1–Level 3 support model, providing subject-matter expertise across TEMENOS products in both implementation projects and Run operations. Leveraging in-depth knowledge of Transact Reporting and Accounting modules and their integration with other T24 applications—such as core banking and the Payments stream—combined with a proven track record in T24 delivery, this role plays a critical part in ensuring stability, continuity, and effectiveness of BAU operations.
Operating at the Level 3 support tier, the Senior Technical Manager is accountable for handling day-to-day operational challenges, ensuring timely resolution across all support layers, and contributing to continuous product and process improvements through the Centre of Excellence.
- You will ensure end-to-end ownership of client issues across the Level1–Level3 support model, driving stability in BAU operations and strengthening the escalation framework.
- You will Provide oversight and guidance to Level 1 service desk consultants in incident logging, ticket triage, and initial troubleshooting, ensuring accurate issue capture and effective use of knowledge base articles and SOPs.
- You will Mentor Level 2 consultants in functional analysis, RCA preparation, and client communication, ensuring escalations are well-documented, reproducible, and actionable.
- You will Own complex functional and technical issues at Level 3, conducting deep root cause analysis, driving permanent resolutions, and raising product defects with Temenos Maintenance or Product Engineering where necessary.
- You will Lead critical incident discussions with clients and partners, coordinating technical resolution and ensuring alignment with operational and business objectives.
- You will Review and validate customization requirements, functional specifications, and local developments, providing clear guidance to Technical Consultants and supporting UAT for high-impact changes.
- You will Monitor recurring issues and trends, recommending process improvements and targeted training to reduce repeated escalations.
- You will Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to L1 and L2 teams, enhancing overall support capability and ensuring efficient use of the escalation matrix.
- You will Contribute to the Centre of Excellence by sharing insights from escalation handling, influencing best practices, and driving product and process improvements.
- You should have over 5-7 years' experience in finance, banking software consultancy, or TEMENOS product delivery (TRANSACT applications), with specialization in Reporting and Accounting modules
- You should be fluent in English (written and spoken), with additional languages considered an advantage, supporting effective global client and stakeholder communication.
- You should have strong understanding of financial and banking processes across Core Banking and Payments, ensuring efficient problem resolution.
- You should have proven expertise in Transact Accounting architecture and Reporting framework, with strong working knowledge of the broader Transact functional modules, enabling effective resolution of complex issues, and enhanced BAU stability.
- You should have hands-on experience with Transact R22 onwards and solid knowledge of Temenos Cloud Architecture, ensuring alignment with modern SaaS delivery models and cloud-based operational best practices.
- You should have exposure to key programming languages (e.g., Basic, C/C++, Java), supporting better collaboration with technical teams and ensuring clarity in functional-to-technical handovers.
- You should have in-depth knowledge and practical application of the TEMENOS Implementation Methodology, ensuring structured delivery, efficient escalation handling, and improved project and BAU outcomes.
