We are looking for a committed and experienced Line Cook to join our Kitchen Operations team. In this role, you will work closely with the Kitchen Head and Senior Line Cook to prepare meals, uphold kitchen standards, and ensure every dish meets quality expectations. The ideal candidate is passionate about cooking and comfortable working in a fast-paced, technology-enabled kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients by chopping, slicing, dicing, and marinating according to recipes.
- Cooking & Plating: Prepare and assemble menu items based on standard recipes and customer preferences while maintaining high quality.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, fryers, and mixers.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning, making adjustments when necessary.
- Hygiene & Cleanliness: Keep the work area clean and sanitary, following all health and safety guidelines.
- Inventory Support: Assist with inventory tasks, including receiving, storing, and tracking kitchen supplies and production.
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training or certification is an advantage.
- Experience: 1–2 years of cooking experience, preferably in a cloud kitchen or high-volume kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of cooking methods and multiple cuisines.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Understanding of food safety standards and best practices.
- Physical Ability: Capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy items.
