General Ledger Accountant — Finance

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant
  • At least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping and general accounting
  • Solid understanding of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and local taxation

  • Good technical skills—able to comfortably navigate through smartphone and desktop applications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions

  • Experience with accounting systems such as SAP B1 or QuickBooks is a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities in collaboration with Finance core teams and HQ, ensuring timely and accurate closing of books for entities in the Philippines, Taiwan, and the US
  • Maintain financial records in compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies
  • Reconcile intercompany transactions and ensure accuracy and completeness of balances
  • Prepare regular balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Generate recurring financial reports, including the Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement
  • Conduct monthly fluctuation analysis of general ledger accounts
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for financial process improvements and support the implementation of approved changes
  • Support internal and external audit activities by providing required documentation and assistance
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analyses for both internal stakeholders and the Head Office
  • Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by leadership
