The Role
As a Universal Banker, you identify client's needs, maintains and nurture customer relationship through marketing calls and referral of bank products. Assist walk-in customers by processes opening of new CASA accounts, placements, roll-over /renewal, termination, pay-out of matured placements including processing of payments, deposits, withdrawals, encashments and other financial transactions. Ensures timely and accurate servicing of transactions in compliance with established operations guidelines and service standards of the bank.
How you'll contribute
- Assist walk-in customers by servicing them and referring them on financial solutions that would best meet their needs and profile, and successfully establish a new banking relationship with the client.
- Process account opening, placement, roll-over / termination of maturities of TD, UITF, and other SBC products in accordance with set policies and procedures set by the Bank.
- Processes over-the-counter transactions and requests in accordance with the policies and procedures by the Bank and act as the co-approver of it.
- Manages and attends to customer's complaints by coordinating with Branch Channel Manger and / or concerned unit to ensure timely complaint resolution and meet client's satisfaction.
- Makes cash requisition based on anticipated cash requirements and transfers cash as soon as cash level exceeds established drawers limit following guidelines / procedures to identify the scope of accountability.
- Dispose transaction alerts in AMLA Based60 in a timely manner using AMLA Base60 system application to follow the standard turnaround time in processing transaction alerts and avoid penalties on late report of suspicious transactions
- Reports fraud / potential fraud or any irregularities noted in the branch, elevating issues / irregularities noted to proper authorities for proper disposition to immediately prevent / detect potential fraud
- Act as the co-custodian of the following: Main Vault Door and Cash Safe, ATM, and CAM. Act as the secondary or alternate custodian of combinations and keys in accordance with the set policies and procedures
What we're looking for
- With at least 3 years of branch banking experience in tellering or new account transactions
- Good interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, strong customer orientation, and sales aptitude
- Flexible, keen to details team player, ability to multi-task and has a pleasant disposition
