We're looking for an experienced Java Developer to join our team in advancing our risk technologies. If you have experience working with FIX trade flow, market data feeds, and message brokers - you might be the one we're looking for

Responsibilities

  • Designing, modifying, developing, writing and implementing software solutions for our risk platforms
  • Writing source codes for new applications, and/or generating and enhancing code for existing applications
  • Acquiring client requirements; resolving workflow problems through automation optimization
  • Partner with Product, Project, QA, DevOps, and Support teams to release high-quality software and ensure its reliable operation in production Maintaining Bank Security Standards and passing Audit requirements on Software
  • Utilizing automated testing tools to perform the testing and maintenance

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience working with java technologies in a microservice architecture
  • Experience in multithreading, FinTech is preferred but not required
  • Programming experience in shared codebase: source control, unit testing, continuous integration
  • Quantitative and statistical skills
  • Strong experience with data structures, large data sets, and working around data quality and integrity issues
  • Experience with software architecture, high-performance computing, and databases (SQL, Postgres)
  • Some experience with market risk models
  • Great understanding of risk metrics and tail statistics
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • May occasionally work non-standard hours, including nights & weekends, as necessary to support business needs
