About the role

We are seeking an experienced Crane Operator to join our team at SteelAsia Manufacturing Corporation in Meycauayan City Bulacan. As a full-time Crane Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various types of cranes, playing a vital role in our construction site operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Operate and manoeuvre overhead, tower, and mobile cranes to lift, move, and position materials, equipment, and other loads as required
  • Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on cranes to ensure they are in safe working condition
  • Monitor crane performance and communicate any issues or concerns to the supervisory team
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to protect yourself, your colleagues, and the public
  • Maintain detailed logs and documentation of crane operations and activities
  • Collaborate with other construction personnel to coordinate lift operations and ensure smooth project progress

What we're looking for

  • Valid Crane Operator's license and at least 3 years of experience operating various types of cranes in a construction environment
  • Thorough understanding of crane operation, load charts, and rigging principles
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and load charts
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle unexpected situations
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with other construction personnel
  • Commitment to safety and a proven track record of safe crane operation
