- Support the Executive Chef in overseeing all culinary operations onboard, including food preparation, service, and sanitation.
- Lead and supervise galley staff, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd cooks, pastry chefs, bakers, and utility cleaners.
- Ensure consistency and quality in all meals served, maintaining high standards of taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Manage food storage areas, including refrigerators and freezers, ensuring proper inventory rotation and hygiene.
- Conduct training and mentoring for junior kitchen staff to uphold company standards and safety protocols.
- Maintain compliance with USPH (United States Public Health) and company sanitation standards.
- Step in as acting Executive Chef when needed, taking full responsibility for kitchen operations.
