BPO Healthcare Collections Representative

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and analyze patient accounts to identify and resolve credit balances.
  • Process refunds and adjustments in accordance with company policies and payer guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate posting of payments and collections.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to overpayments or duplicate payments.
  • Maintain documentation of all actions taken on accounts for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Ensure timely resolution of credit balances to support revenue cycle efficiency.
  • Respond to inquiries from patients, payers, and internal stakeholders professionally and promptly.
  • Adhere to HIPAA and other regulatory requirements in handling sensitive financial and patient information.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be a college graduate with a degree in Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • With a minimum of 1 year experience in handling Payment or Collections in a BPO setting or environment
  • Experience in non-BPO industries and local banks, particularly in collections, are encouraged to apply
  • Note: Experience in a BPO Healthcare Account is a plus but not required
  • Must be willing to report onsite in Makati City
  • Willing to work during night shift hours
  • Must have customer service, communication & computer skills
