Job Description: Driver / Delivery Man

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver / Delivery Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to our customers and business partners. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Operation: Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
  • Delivery and Pickup: Load, transport, and deliver items to clients or businesses in a timely and professional manner. This includes picking up items from vendors and suppliers.
  • Route Management: Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivery, using navigation tools and knowledge of local roads.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. Report any maintenance or mechanical issues promptly. Keep the vehicle clean and organized.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete delivery paperwork, including logs, receipts, and reports. Ensure all documentation is correct and submitted on time.
  • Customer Service: Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with customers. Handle all inquiries and feedback with courtesy and provide exceptional service.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring all items are secure and accounted for. Verify the contents of each delivery against the packing slip.

Qualifications:

  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of local and regional geography.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy packages.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
