We are seeking a skilled 
Finance & Accounting Specialist
 to join our team and handle a wide range of finance and accounting functions, from managing accounts receivable and processing disbursements to ensuring compliance with tax regulations. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, support both local and regional operations, and contribute to the company's overall financial health.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Finance:

  • Review KYC
    application, including related customer master data, modifications, and relevant customer transaction terms discussing.
  • Follow up with sales team on outstanding Account Receivable according to the SOP, attend weekly AR meeting with sales team and HQ to check the updated AR status.
  • Prepare journal entries on bank receipts and subsequent clear against its relevant outstanding invoices.
  • Track and collect Certificate of Withholding Tax (CWT) from customers on a timely basis.

Accounting:

  • Review and check the Disbursement application submitted by Staff for vendor and staff reimbursement, prepare the Journal entries for payment processing.
  • Prepare journal entries for month end closing accounting works (i.e. Staff payroll, Depreciation, etc.)
  • Provide required documentation and information for quarterly internal audits and annual external audits.
  • Prepare monthly input VAT filings and ensure timely and accurate submission in compliance with BIR regulations.
  • Others:
  • Support the employees with any accounting, tax and finance related queries.
  • Support the Country Manager for any accounting and finance duties.
  • Support other region's F&A related tasks (if needed).

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • University Degree, or professional qualification in Accounting, Business, and Finance
  • Hands-on experience in financial operations is highly valued.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience; experience with Big Four accounting firms or multinational companies is a plus but not required (Technology industry experience is preferred)
  • Familiarity with financial operations, such as bookkeeping, financial reporting, and tax compliance
  • Good computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel. (SAP experience is a plus)
  • A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English (able to speak in Mandarin is a plus.
