Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated FDAS Specialist (Fire Detection and Alarm Systems Specialist) to oversee the installation, maintenance, and programming of advanced fire alarm and detection systems. The ideal candidate will be a technical expert with a strong background in low-voltage systems, a commitment to safety standards, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation & Commissioning: Install, configure, and commission various FDAS, including fire alarm panels, smoke detectors, heat detectors, and other life safety devices, ensuring all installations comply with industry standards and fire code of the Philippines.
• System Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of FDAS. Diagnose and troubleshoot system faults, wiring issues, and other technical problems to ensure optimal performance.
• Programming & Configuration: Program fire alarm control panels and related software based on client specifications and building requirements.
• Systems Integration: Work with security systems, CCTV, and other low-voltage components to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including inspection reports, service records, and as-built drawings.
• Blueprint & Design Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to review and modify system layouts.
• Client Relations: Provide technical support and training to clients on the operation and maintenance of fire alarm systems.

Qualifications

• Certification: Certified in Fire Alarm & Detection Equipment (e.g., Certified Fire Detection and Alarm System Specialist) or an equivalent certification is highly preferred.
• Experience: Proven experience in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of Fire Alarm and Detection Systems.

• Technical Proficiency:

• Demonstrated proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Alarm Panels from major manufacturers.

• Networking Experience with security, CCTV systems, or other building automation systems.
• Familiarity with various low-voltage wiring standards and electrical codes.
• Software Skills: Knowledge and practical experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
