Building Maintenance

The Building Maintenance is responsible for ensuring that the facilities and equipment are safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role includes performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of the building and its surroundings.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections of the building, equipment, and facilities.
• Carry out minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical repairs.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment and utilities (air conditioning units, lighting, water systems, etc.).
• Respond promptly to repair requests and maintenance concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in common areas and building premises.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and report hazards or damages.
• Monitor and manage building utilities to ensure efficient use.
• Coordinate with contractors or service providers for major repairs or projects.
• Keep maintenance tools, supplies, and equipment in good working condition.
• Perform other related tasks as may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS in Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering/technical course (Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering).
• With NC II Certificate in Building/Facilities Maintenance, Electrical Installation & Maintenance, or related field.
• With or without PRC license.
• At least 2-5 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or engineering work is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Physically fit and able to perform technical and manual tasks.
• Can work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules and respond to emergency maintenance concerns.

Work Conditions:

• Full-time / Shift-based
• May be required to respond to emergency repairs beyond regular hours.
