Job Title: Cloud & Application Support Engineer

Location: Taguig

Employment Type: 6 months contract

Work Schedule: 24x7 support model, including on-call, weekends, and holidays

Job Overview

We're looking for a Cloud & Application Support Engineer with strong experience in cloud platforms, programming, and production support. This role focuses on troubleshooting, incident resolution, and maintaining applications and data pipelines across Azure, GCP, and Databricks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end support for applications and configuration items
  • Troubleshoot issues in Azure, GCP, Databricks, and code built in Java, Python, and JavaScript
  • Monitor incidents and respond within SLA timelines
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve complex issues
  • Handle ad hoc requests and perform proactive support tasks
  • Maintain documentation and update knowledge databases
  • Participate in on-call rotations and post-incident reviews
  • Support continuous improvement and process changes
  • Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Contribute to projects as a Designer, Tester, or Implementer

Required Skills

  • 3–4 years of experience in application or production support
  • Strong knowledge of Azure (Data Factory, Data Lake), GCP (DataFlow, Composer), and Databricks
  • Proficient in Java (Spring Boot), JavaScript (React), and Python
  • Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to shifting priorities
  • Comfortable working in support-oriented and fast-paced environments
