About the Role
We're looking for a talented developer to join our bespoke software team and help maintain and enhance our ColdFusion-based platform. ColdFusion expertise is rare these days, but if you have it — and you pair it with modern front-end skills — you might be exactly who we're looking for.
Our environment blends the stability of a Microsoft tech stack with the flexibility to integrate newer tools. You'll work closely with our team to deliver robust, scalable solutions, contributing to both front-end and back-end development.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and enhance applications on our ColdFusion platform.
- Build dynamic, responsive user interfaces with React and JavaScript.
- Write clean, efficient SQL queries and optimize database performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in daily standups (9 AM PT) and other project meetings.
- Work within our Azure-based infrastructure, ensuring solutions meet security, scalability, and performance requirements.
- 3–4 years recent, hands-on experience with ColdFusion.
- Strong proficiency in React and JavaScript (heavy usage).
- Solid SQL skills for database integration and optimization.
- Experience with Microsoft technologies, including Azure and Windows Server environments (ColdFusion runs on Windows Server here, not Linux).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
- Experience with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration best practices.
