Job Description

The Data Analysis and Reporting Supervisor reports to the Monitoring and Data Management Head is responsible for overseeing data analysis, interpretation, and the preparation of comprehensive reports, ensuring the effective communication of biodiversity monitoring outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

The Data Analysis and Reporting Supervisor has the following responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis and Interpretation:

· Lead the analysis of biodiversity monitoring data to identify trends, patterns, and key insights.

· Implement robust quality assurance measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of biodiversity monitoring data.

2. Reporting Strategy Development:

· Develop a comprehensive reporting strategy for biodiversity monitoring activities and define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for assessing the effectiveness of biodiversity conservation initiatives.

3. Report Preparation and Stakeholder Communication

· Supervise the preparation of regular and ad-hoc reports summarizing biodiversity monitoring results, trends, and recommended actions.

· Collaborate with the stakeholder engagement team to effectively communicate biodiversity monitoring outcomes to internal and external stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental science, ecology, statistics, or a related field, or a related field.

2. At least 5 yrs experience in experience in data analysis and reporting related to biodiversity monitoring in complex projects.

3. Familiarity with environmental regulations and biodiversity offset principles.

4. Strong knowledge of local flora and fauna, with expertise in species identification.

5. Familiarity with relevant environmental regulations and monitoring protocols.

6. Proficiency in using field monitoring equipment and data collection tools.

7. Leadership experience in managing a team of monitoring professionals.

8. Knowledge of IFC PS requirements is preferred.;
