We are looking for a skilled RHOCP Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (RHOCP) and cloud infrastructure management. This role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud environments that support our enterprise applications and services. You will collaborate with development teams to automate deployment pipelines, ensure high availability, and optimize resource utilization. Responsibilities include troubleshooting complex cloud issues, implementing best practices for security and compliance, and continuously improving the cloud infrastructure to meet evolving business needs. The position requires strong knowledge of container orchestration, cloud-native technologies, and infrastructure as code. Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters.
  • Automate application deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance and costs.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams for CI/CD pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues.
  • Maintain documentation of cloud environments and processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest cloud and container technologies.
  • Support disaster recovery and backup strategies.
  • Participate in capacity planning and scaling activities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform.
  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Go.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines.
  • Understanding of networking, security, and storage in cloud environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
