Job Description
  • Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on banking software requirements and business rules.
  • Execute manual testing to identify software defects, validate functionality, and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to resolve issues and enhance product quality.
  • Document and track defects, reporting issues clearly and concisely through the appropriate tools.
  • Perform detailed testing of banking applications, including core banking systems, payment processing, and customer-facing platforms.
  • Verify that systems comply with industry regulations, security standards, and banking compliance requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive test reports, summarizing testing outcomes, defect trends, and quality insights for stakeholders.

Qualifications

Must Have
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of solid experience as a Manual Tester. (Non-negotiable)
  • Proven experience in creating test plans, test cases, and test scenarios. (Non-negotiable)
  • Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and tools. (Non-negotiable)
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools such as HP Quality Center, JIRA, or similar platforms. (Non-negotiable)
  • In-depth understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). (Non-negotiable)
  • Strong understanding of the Defect Life Cycle. (Non-negotiable)
  • Knowledge of TOAD or similar database query tools is an advantage.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly. (Non-negotiable)
