Job Description

We are looking for a Mechanical Piping Designer to join our team. The role involves preparing 2D/3D piping layouts, isometric drawings, and material take-offs for fabrication projects. You will work closely with engineers and other disciplines to ensure piping systems are safe, efficient, and compliant with project standards.

Responsibilities
  • Develop piping layouts, isometrics, and general arrangement drawings.
  • Interpret P&IDs and process flow diagrams for accurate design.
  • Prepare bill of materials and material take-offs.
  • Coordinate with engineers and other designers for clash-free layouts.
  • Support construction and site teams with as-built drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable piping codes and standards.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering/related field.
  • Experience in piping design.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Plant 3D, CADWorx, SmartPlant, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of ASME/ANSI piping codes.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
