Warehouse Supervisor

Job Purpose:

To lead and manage the company's logistics and warehouse operations by ensuring efficient transport planning, effective fleet utilization, timely and cost-efficient delivery of goods, and accurate inventory and storage management. This role is critical in supporting both inbound and outbound supply chain flows, enabling smooth distribution of imported and local goods, optimizing warehouse operations, and ensuring traceability, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Logistics & Fleet Operations

2. Plan and manage daily delivery schedules to ensure on-time dispatch and customer delivery.

3. Supervise and deploy delivery fleet based on route optimization and cargo load requirements.
4. Monitor real-time delivery status and coordinate resolutions for any delays, breakdowns, or customer issues.
5. Oversee proper use and maintenance of company vehicles; implement preventive maintenance schedules.
6. Maintain GPS/fleet tracking systems and fuel consumption monitoring reports.

7. Ensure drivers' compliance with delivery protocols, safety standards, and customer handling.

8. Inbound & Outbound Coordination

9. Coordinate with Procurement and Importation teams to receive imported goods and schedule inbound deliveries to the warehouse.

10. Verify shipment documents and inspect goods upon arrival for quantity and quality.
11. Schedule and monitor outbound shipments to clients, field teams, or grower-partners.

12. Ensure accuracy in delivery documentation (e.g., Delivery Receipts, Sales Invoices, Gate Passes).

13. Warehouse Operations Management

14. Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and dispatch.

15. Implement First-In-First-Out (FIFO), batch/lot traceability, and product-specific storage protocols.
16. Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely restocking and space management.
17. Ensure accurate bin location and physical layout of the warehouse aligned with safety and efficiency.

18. Lead regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.

19. Inventory Accuracy & Control

20. Maintain real-time inventory visibility through ERP or inventory management systems.

21. Investigate and resolve discrepancies between system and physical stock.
22. Ensure expiry-sensitive and product-specific handling (especially for agri-inputs, chemicals, and tech products).
23. Submit weekly inventory movement reports and stock reconciliation.

· 5. Safety, Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure warehouse and logistics teams follow safety protocols and security procedures.
• Oversee cleanliness, pest control, waste disposal, and fire safety measures.
• Prepare and submit accurate weekly/monthly reports (fleet utilization, delivery KPIs, inventory levels, damages, etc.).

• Participate in audits and implement corrective actions for compliance issues.

• Team Leadership & Coordination

• Supervise, coach, and evaluate the performance of logistics and warehouse staff.

• Conduct regular meetings with the team to align on priorities, workloads, and safety practices.
• Develop SOPs and training plans for logistics and warehouse operations.
• Foster teamwork and accountability across warehouse and logistics functions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics Management, or any related course.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, and fleet operations, preferably in an agricultural, manufacturing, or trading company.
• Strong knowledge of preventive vehicle maintenance, warehousing systems, and local logistics documentation.
• With experience in handling a fleet of light to heavy-duty vehicles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory/dispatch management systems.
• Good leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Must be willing to be assigned on-site and do field visits as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php25, Php35,000.00 per month
