Job Summary:

R esponsible for the planning, design, installation, inspection, and maintenance of plumbing and sanitary systems in residential, commercial, or industrial projects. They ensure compliance with local laws, codes, and standards, particularly the Revised National Plumbing Code of the Philippines and other related regulations from the National Building Code and Department of Health (DOH).

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare plumbing and sanitary system layouts using CAD or BIM software.
  • Conduct load calculations for water supply and drainage systems.
  • Select appropriate materials, fixtures, and equipment based on project requirements and local availability.
  • Supervise on-site installation of water supply, drainage, sewage, and vent systems.
  • Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, mechanical engineers, and contractors.
  • Conduct inspections and pressure tests to ensure system integrity.
  • Secure permits and approvals from LGUs, DPWH, DOH, and other relevant agencies.
  • Prepare and submit "As-built" plans for occupancy permit applications.
  • Ensure sanitation systems comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Monitor quality of work and ensure proper workmanship.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance planning for sanitary systems.
  • Investigate and resolve plumbing-related issues in buildings or facilities.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Sanitary Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Licensed Registered Sanitary Engineer or Master Plumber in the Philippines (PRC license required).
  • Experience:
  • 2–5 years of relevant work experience in plumbing/sanitary system design and implementation.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), MS Office, and hydraulic design software.
  • Strong understanding of water supply systems, drainage systems, septic systems, and rainwater harvesting.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Detail-oriented and highly analytical.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
