Key Responsibilities
- Design & Engineering: Creating the overall structural and internal layout of marine vessels and structures.
- Performance Analysis: Developing hull forms and calculating data on buoyancy, stability, and hydrodynamics.
- Project Oversight: Leading teams and overseeing the construction and repair of vessels.
- Compliance & Regulations: Ensuring all designs meet national and international safety and regulatory standards.
- Specialized Systems: Collaborating with marine engineers to design and integrate systems like propulsion, steering, heating, and electrical distribution.
- Testing & Evaluation: Monitoring and evaluating the performance of ships during sea trials and making necessary design adjustments.
