About the Role

We're looking for a Data Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in SQL and data engineering, with experience handling large datasets in cloud-based environments. You'll be part of a collaborative team focused on improving hospital operations, clinical performance, and IT healthcare analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Work with large healthcare datasets to optimize data models and reporting structures.
  • Collaborate with software developers, data analysts, and DevOps teams in an Agile setup.
  • Ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance with healthcare data standards.

Qualifications

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in data engineering or database development.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL (primary requirement).
  • Working knowledge of Python (with willingness to grow further within the team).
  • Experience with Google BigQuery preferred.
  • Alternatives: Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, Oracle, or other cloud data warehousing platforms.
  • DevOps and cloud platform experience as a data warehousing engineer.
  • Strong scripting knowledge (preferably Python, Scala, or Java).
  • Background in Agile, software development, or database development is an advantage.
  • Experience or exposure to data management, hospital operations, or clinical performance is a plus.
  • Candidates with Oracle or Teradata experience are highly preferred.
