AR Analyst

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Payment Processing & Recording

• Match AR invoices with customer remittances
• Check returned invoices and validate payments
• Post and update AR payments in the accounting system
• Secure and organize all AR invoices and documents

Reporting & Monitoring

• Prepare and update daily AR aging reports
• Print and file schedule of accounts receivable with breakdowns
• Email updated reports to Finance and Audit teams
• Maintain daily records of customer balances and outstanding obligations

Collections & Coordination

• Monitor daily collection schedules with agents
• Follow up on overdue accounts and issue Statements of Account (SOA)
• Ensure all collections are returned to the office daily
• Establish accountability with sales agents regarding collections

Credit Management

• Conduct credit investigations for new and existing customers
• Secure and maintain Customer Information (CI) Forms
• Submit customer info sheets to external accounts for new customer setup
• Hold sales orders for accounts that exceed credit limits or have overdue balances

Inventory & Bad Order (BO) Monitoring

• Audit warehouse and truck inventory related to AR
• Monitor and receive returned bad orders (BO)
• Check trip tickets for delivery and collection tracking

Document Control & Safekeeping

• Safekeep all bounced checks and file copies
• Maintain complete and organized AR records and customer documents
• Ensure secure storage of financial documents related to AR

Other Duties

• Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned by supervisors or management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or any related field
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools
• High attention to detail, organization, and accountability
