About the Role:

As a Java Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications using Java and other modern technologies. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in Agile development, and ensure that our applications meet high performance and security standards.

Junior – Mid-Level Developer

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based applications
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
  • Participate in code reviews and implement feedback
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues
  • Work collaboratively in Agile teams, attending daily stand-ups and planning meetings
  • Create and maintain technical documentation

Senior-Level Developer

  • Lead and mentor junior developers
  • Design scalable and high-performance software architectures
  • Drive Agile development best practices
  • Provide technical guidance and ensure code quality
  • Act as a point of contact for clients and stakeholders
  • Identify and implement development workflow improvements
  • Participate in the strategic direction of the company's software initiatives

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Undergraduates welcome to apply)
  • Minimum of 2 years Java Development experience (J2EE or Java Enterprise Edition)
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns and best practices
  • Experience with Agile & Scrum methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teams and stakeholders.

Bonus Skills (Preferred, but not required)

  • Hands-on experience with , API GW, Lambda Functions, DynamoDB and other AWS services
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, HTML5, CSS3
  • Experience with API technologies and cloud platforms
