Chinese Translator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Chinese Translator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating communication materials between Chinese, English and/or Filipino to ensure clear and accurate information exchange within our organization. The Chinese Translator will play a critical role in facilitating communication between teams, clients, and partners verbal translation needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret spoken conversations in meetings, site visits, and other settings, facilitating real-time communication between Chinese and non-Chinese-speaking team members.
• Assist in preparing bilingual reports, presentations, and other materials for project meetings, client interactions, and internal communications.
• Review and edit translations done by third parties to ensure quality and consistency with company standards.
• Maintain confidentiality of all translation work, particularly concerning sensitive business information.
• Collaborate with different departments to support their translation needs and clarify technical terminology as required.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• Experience: 2+ years of professional translation experience, ideally within the engineering, construction, or infrastructure sector.
• Language Skills: Fluency in Mandarin and English.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with engineering, construction, or technical terminology is advantageous; proficiency in translation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a multicultural team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php35, Php40,000.00 per month
